I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
